The Haapsalu scarf has been a symbol of Haapsalu since the last century. It is wool knitwear that is so fine that you can pull it through your ring. The knitting skills have traditionally been passed down from generation to generation. As such, it has always been highly valued by women.
On Tuesdays, you can meet with the local crafts artists. There is also the museum gallery of the Haapsalu Lace Centre in the same house.
