Discovering Rummu quarry on a fatbike

The hike begins along the roads by Rummu quarry and continues on the hiking and cycling trails of the State Forest Management Centre.

The narrow trails offer a bit of technical excitement and if we have time, we will admire the beautiful quarry as well as the prison and mining complex surrounding it. The prison complex, which looks as if it belongs in an old post-apocalyptic thriller, is surely an interesting sight.

With a separate licence, we can climb the gangue hill, which offers a better panoramic view of the area that looks like it belongs in a science fiction movie.
